Overview

Mediterranean Sea Patrols, within Israeli aerospace, are conducted under the supervision of Israeli AF's Air Control Unit within restricted aerospace. For that reason - flight routes will be provided by the Israeli AF.

Notes:

  1. Since flights will be conducted within restricted areas - an Authorization letter must be issued by the IDF/AF to the AIS in order that Flight Plans will be approved.

  2. One must verify that the routes, provided by the AF connect to & from LLBG in a way that does not generate a safety conflict with LLBG inbound/outbound.

When in doubt - don't hesitate to consult with AIS (via RS-LS team) if routes are valid and to confirm FPL was approved.
